The team had reached the National level, demonstrating their growing competence on the field. This leap forward was not only proof of their talents but also of their relentless pursuit of excellence. 2020 marked another milestone as the team entered Botola Pro 2. This level brought new challenges and tougher competition, but also offered an opportunity to prove their worth. The team embraced the challenge, pushing their limits and aspiring to greatness. In 2022, the ascent continued with reaching Botola Pro 1. This stage was a significant accomplishment, reflecting the culmination of years of hard work, strategic planning, and impeccable teamwork. The dream was becoming closer, and the vision clearer. Finally, in 2024, the ultimate goal was achieved: Qualification for CAF. This moment was not just reaching a summit, but also a reflection of the journey that led there. It was about every training session, every match played, every victory celebrated, and every obstacle overcome. This journey, from Amateur 1 to CAF Qualification, is a story of resilience, determination, and the indomitable spirit of a team that dared to dream big. Mohamed Timoumi: A Legend of Touarga Club
Mohamed Timoumi is one of the most iconic players of Touarga Club and a true legend of Moroccan football. Born on January 15, 1960, in Rabat, Timoumi made history with his exceptional talent and flair on the field.
He began his professional career with FAR Rabat, but his time at Touarga Club was equally memorable. Timoumi quickly drew attention for his technical skills and vision of the game. His exceptional performance earned him the title of African Footballer of the Year in 1985, a recognition of his significant impact in the world of football.
Timoumi was also a pillar of the Moroccan national team, contributing decisively during the 1986 World Cup in Mexico, where Morocco became the first African nation to reach the round of 16.
